I was hoping for how it actually is actually done..from idea, all the way to my hands...including production, reviews, re-reviews, alpha testing, beta testing, etc, etc.

It is right about GameStop's "New" games. The games are open with disc stowed away in a paper sleeve that the employee stores in a drawer while the case itself is scratched allover. Meanwhile they still charge the same price as eveywhere else. I'm not sure why anyone would buy a new game from there unless it was on sale.

The "rating based on how many ads on the review's web-site" part is so unfortunately true.

That was how it's done. Sure they left out small things like, have beta testing, and ignore everything your beta testers tell you, but it covers most of the major steps. :)

Yup... main reason why even a good game may end up getting a horrid review.
