It's slightly faster than a 6600GT. Probably about equal to the Geforce 6800non-ultra.

Its 5~10% faster than a 6600GT/6800nu. Its 10~20% slower than a 6800ultra.

So i would say its somewhere in between 6800nu/6800GT performance.

Considering it's fillrate levels and the fact that it's based on NV4x technology, I would say somewhere between the 6600 GT/6800 Vanilla and 6800 GT.

Compared to the X800 class video cards I would say it's around a X800 GTO, the more advanced Shader technology of NV4x should nullify the 256Bit Memory Interface, bandwidth advantage of the X800, provided it running at stock of course.

well someone offered me one for my X-Fi Extreme Music and I am just wanting it to hold me over till some more DX10 cards come. I can't see giving $200 for something now when some budget DX10 cards are coming and should perform well. I just can't go two months without some CS:S. So far I been offered a 6800GS,7600GS and a 6800nu. Out of those which are the fastest?

I've sold a heap of those in the past year, especially the Leadtek and Gigabyte models...very popular, performance wise though their not much faster than a 6600GT, closer to the 6800 in perfomance...but no where near a 6800GT like some have suggested here.

If we are talking PCI-e, then go for the 6800GS. It is almost dead even with 6800GT performance. If it's the AGP version of the 6800GS then it will be a bit slower than a 6800GT, but should still be quicker than a 6800nu or 7600GS.

6800Ultra is a lot faster than the 7600GS, 6800Ultra is even significanlty faster(sometimes atleast) over the 6800GT.

A 7600GS should perform a little over a 6600GT and sometimes reach aroudn 6800GS levels.

It's about the same as the 6600GT/6800. The 7600GT is a much better value because it's on part with the X850XT/6800 Ultra and only costs a little bit more.

So what I'm say is: don't do this trade.

once again you prove you're an idiot...a 6800GS often ties with a 6800GT...and sometimes beats it.

do some research moron.

i know 6800gs is equivalent to a 6800gt, but sometimes 7600gs may come near to that level as well, check benchies again

ummm ever tested one in the real world?

I didn't think so

Despite what Toms hardware might have you believe with their "optimistic" benchmarks

A 7600GS is much closer to a 6800 than any 6800GT/GS.

Think back to when the GF4MX 440 and 460 first came out...sure the benchmarks looked good, especially when compared to a GF3 TI200...but were the cards any good....fvck no...they sucked big time, and were no match for a GF3 TI200 in almost all games...but unusually they benchmarked often slightly ahead....this is pretty much how the 7600GS is, it benchmarks well, but in reality it's much slower then we are lead to believe.

Well, I don't. Just as long as he lurks and never says anything. It would be beneficial to us and him.

I just wish he would actually do some research before he posted instead of making sh!t up....Oh and the more I flame him the less he posts.

It could be worse...much worse, at least Asshat doesn't behave like a certain user that only posts in the Operating system forum....Link19...man that guy is a retard...only ever posts in thread about Win98 and all he ever does it bitch about it....I suppose Asshat "tries" to contribute, even if he makes up most of the info he posts.

LMAO!! I didn't know that!! There's so much to learn from askshayt, praise to him...we must bow to him. He was the one who said that overclocking a CPU would give you more performance :Q
