how 2 create a bootdsk in XP?

dumb question, but i need a bootdisk to flash my bios though I can't find a way to create one.. yet. Is there a way? or there's no way... thanks appreciate it.

Go into 'my computer', right click the floppy drive, and select format.

when the format box pops up, check the square that says "create MS-DOS startup disk".
