Hover Disk, anyone try one of these?? great toy, just bought one for my kids.

looks like a POS that will break quickly.. and the sight you linked to has ? marks in place of proper charicters... a definite 'avoid' sight.

actually, it's quite durable. mylar. i just googled hover disk and that was the first site that came up.

it's a blast. you can fill it with helium or just regular air. it still flies pretty good with regular air.

if using IE: goto view, encoding, english...yeah that will get rid of them.

It flies pretty damn well. Good enough that duty RA was pissed when she caught him throwing it down the hall.

seriously tho, this is a GREAT gift idea for ANYONE that likes cool toys. this thing flies really well and it is very very light so will do minimal if any damage to walls, furniture, other people etc.

frisbee for the casual thrower if you ask me. 🙂

hehe, well, I get korean characters in place of the "?" he gets. I have my encoding set at korean as default. He probably has some other european language as default because I know German does that (I know someone who's German at work and any english webpage w/ a comma will generate a "?" instead)

He should have caught that by now.


Anyway, I always loved frizbees (sp? oops...)
Maybe I should pick one up for my spoiled little cousin hehehe...I'm running out of ideas for that little ah heck

it's durable and won?t tear easily.?If HoverDisk should get punctured, you can easily patch it with clear tape

bad when the item description tells you to use tape on it to fix it; but yea, it's just a yahoo store.

I'm using Unicode, it allows me to post RTF stuff on the star wars galaxies boards without there system attacking me.

someone selling mylar ballons would say the same thing.

do you have any idea what a mylar ballon is?? it's just to strips of plastic glued to each other along the edges.
