Or should i say AUSTIN? 🙂

I ordered my i9300 on Monday night as all of you probably saw. There has yet to be an email about ship date, confirmation of order, etc. Is it normal for dell to go this long without sending an email or should i be worried that there was an error?

EDIT: More problems. Checked online and its not on the credit card yet...

Anyone have tips for me on what i should do? I got a really good deal, which i won't be able to get now if i have to reorder. It said "Transaction Completed" so i assumed that it went through. At this point, i am not optimistic at all... Thoughts?

I would give it a couple of weeks in order for Dell to get it into the system. The Estimated Ship Date given when you configured / ordered the system is a pretty good estimate of when you should see it on your account. It might actually take a week or two to actually get the system.

You should be able to look up your order status if you signed up for an online account. This account is not your Dell Credit Card account but your account to receive updates, technical support, and be able to quickly purchase items from the website.

You should be able to go to the Service & Support page on the main Dell site. It is on the bottom right side of the page and labeled "Get Support." Once you click on the link, you will see an Order Support section on the top left. Click on "Order Status." You should be presented with a login window. Above the Step 1 & Step 2 there is a link labeled, " Find My Order or Customer Number." Click that and go through the motions of entering your information and click "Search." It SHOULD give you a list of all customer numbers associated with your shipping address along with a list of items purchased and brief description. You can then use this data to do a order number lookup.

Frankly, it would probably be quicker ( and less hassle ) for him to use the online search for the order number.

Setting up an online account has the added benefit of being able to do lookups on all items purchased along with their service tags, etc.

UPDATE:
A fairly interesting thing happenned...They built it already and shipped it yesterday, but they just sent an email this morning. Is that weird or what?
