There is a place near my house called Hung Dong, but I've never been there.

Chinese Cafe on richmond isn't bad. If you're looking for dim sum, Kim Son in Stafford is pretty good.

I have been to some good restaurants down off of Bellaire @ Beltway 8. If you havent been to that area it is basically a little china town. when i was in hs lots of my friends used to go to Tan Tan bc it was pretty cheap and fast. i have also been to shinh shinh which was OK. i was out with my gf and her dad. he lives in taiwan so he was ordering weird seafood soups and stuff. My favorite in that area is Lucky Dragon 7. Best mongolian beef ive ever had. The only other good places I know of are further west.

China Garden is great. It is located right next to Toyota Center. Kim Son is pretty good, and Fu's Garden is also not bad :)

Another vote for Fu's Garden. :) They have really good ribs. Kim Son is good.

HardcoreRobot, that's my area of town. There are a lot of pretty good restaurants down Bellaire, and a lot of them are Vietnamese. Tan Tan is very cheap, and a lot of Asians eat there. It's not the best, but it's good for the price and they have an extensive menu.

There is a Chinese seafood restaurant right by my house on 59 near Fondren that's supposed to be good. Fung's Kitchen, I think it's called. Also, there is (or was) a really good little restaurant by the Ikea on I-10. I haven't been there in years, though.
