No power outage yet here
Some rain, but not much

Hungry and all the places are closed. Not one single thing here open.... NADA
My girl left to Mexico with her family
My mother took off to College Station
Friends left to San Antonio

Stuck here neffing... heheh 😛

I'm in Katy. Wind isn't bad, probably 30, with gusts once in a while. Some rain, but not much. No power flickers or anything yet.

you're in a good location. Shouldn't get much of anything.

Apparently 30,000 people are out of power in the Galveston and Huntsville

I need electricity or no neffing for me tonight.... no TV, no xbox, arrghhh!!

How bored I would be w/o electricity..

Houston looks kinda spooky with all the streets empty and the freeways cleared on TV. Very eerie looking.

I'm over here in Sharpstown. I posted some pictures of the weather here earlier if you want a visual of what's going on. 😛

Wind hasn't really picked up besides a few 20 mph gusts. Partly cloudy. Really quiet with no cars on the freeways.

Just got off the phone with my girlfriend in Dallas. Her mom wanted to evac to Mexico, haha. :laugh:

I hear power is out in Pasadena already.

I'm waiting for the real weather to get here.
 
If you have a full tank why not take advantage of the FREEway and do some donuts and other horseplay? 😉

J/K don't do this - you could spin out of control and knock down a power pole!

I had this idea and asked my dad if he wanted to go, but he said he didn't feel like it.

Besides, the minivan is parked behind my car.

Yes when it would snow back home we used to love to do that. 475 hp + RWD + a few inches of snow = fun. Experienced drivers only. 🙂

<- Just a tad homesick but comfortably numb. Life is good. Home for holidays then start cycle all over again in January. No Europe for me next year. Unfortunately it will probably take me a few weeks before I can drive without everyone thinking I'm drunk. 🙁

Bellaire was volunatrily evacuated AFAIK. Thats were that bus that killed 24 people were from. Hope you didn't have any older family members there. Nursing home was evacuated... the bus that picked them up burst into flames. 🙁

Everyone else should be safe, and for the most part people did leave from Bellaire.
