So I'm watching the TV show "House" on CBS right now and its a pretty wild show. Any doctors out their wanna comment on how true it is?

I was wondering the same thing, havent actually watched the show, but the ads for it make it look very very unrealistic. Some badass, unshaven, hobo-looking, drunk? guy walking around the hospital is the best doctor in the world. Saving peoples lives when no one else can figure anything out. looks weak.

Doesn't look very realistic. He probably would have gotten his license revoked long ago. That and I bet his malpractice insurance is through the roof.

The premise is that he's a Vicodin addict because of chronic pain from a leg injury. Also that he's the "flawed genius," ie, great at diagnosis but sarcastic, caustic and arrogant.
