I dislike the police officer character.
Operating within the show's universe, I'll explain why.
Ultimately, Officer Titor is similar to House, he's exceptionally good at his job, but he's also more concerned with being right than with people.
The difference is that, as Watson was explaining in the most recent episode, purely based on the percentages, House is a force for good in the universe. House is an egotistical jerk who has terrible people skills, but when it comes right down to it, he saves lives, even if he does manage to be a complete jackarse in the process. House doesn't care about the rules if they stand in the way of him saving someone's life.
Titor, on the other hand, is unhealthily obsessed with rules. He's so focused on the rules that he isn't able to comprehend the idea of there being an exception to them. It is a fact that if House is in jail or otherwise barred from practicing medicine people will die who would otherwise have been saved. Indirectly, Titor's power trip can result in people dying. House's power trips result in people's lives being saved.
From that perspective, House is moral and Titor is immoral, which is why I dislike his character.
