Does the temperature in your house affect the peformance of your computer at all?
My dad likes to keep it like 80 degrees+ so its not that comfortable for me wondering how it is for my comp

No, but it can decrease the lifesan of components by causing everything in the computer to run hotter. If your computer is already almost too hot, it could cause it to crash due to overheating.

The temperature would be idealy 65-75 degrees F. This is the range that most data centers and server farms keep their climate controlled rooms at. If you want to go one step farther 40-60% humidy is ideal as well. And temperatures do affect performance, the cooler they get the better they will perform.
