We need to get rid of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell !!
Even though IMO nobody in their right mind should vote against reauthorizing the 0/11 Victim Compensation Fund, when it passes the House it goes to Congress! It is up to the senate majority Leader to bring this before the Senate! What happenns if he does not bring this before the senate because it was NOT his party that initially was responsible for the bill?
I mknow this is hard to wrap your heads around but he could without thinking this through screw up his own re=election.....hmmmmm

The House Judiciary Committee unanimously passed a bill that would permanently reauthorize the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund on Wednesday, the day after comedian Jon Stewart gave impassioned testimony in support of the bill in video that quickly went viral.

The bill will now go to the floor for a full vote in the House of Representatives, where it is likely to pass. It's unclear whether Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will take up the bill in the Senate, although Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York said Wednesday that he was "imploring, pleading, even begging" McConnell to bring the bill to the floor as soon as it passes in the House.
