i assume they will plead the 5th or otherwise "not remember" just about anything from 2015-2021.
They can say whatever BS they want. I don't think they are under oath. And you know what that means.i assume they will plead the 5th or otherwise "not remember" just about anything from 2015-2021.
i'll be pleasantly surprised if we get useful information
It's a crime to lie to congress even if you aren't under oath. They can say whatever BS they want. I don't think they are under oath. And you know what that means.
Edit: If you have most of the facts, their lies can be a guide to truth.
It's only useful if it's enforced. It's a crime to lie to congress even if you aren't under oath.

Well sure, but my point is whether or not they are under oath doesn't change much. It's only useful if it's enforced.
Trump is getting screwed.... electric screwdriver style to be precise.
you must not be familiar with confidential sources and the like....^^^ Whether or not investigators should have those is one question. No media source should have them unless they're part of a public record somewhere.

Former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows says Jan. 6 panel has sought to publicly 'vilify' him
The Baltimore Sun|6 minutes ago
Former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows accused the congressional committee investigating last year's attack on the U.S. Capitol of leaking all of the text messages he provided to the panel in what he says was an effort to vilify him publicly.

While I think there would be benefit in keeping the committee going their plan is to have their hearings and report finished well before the election so there won't be that much to shut down.Shame it’ll all get shut down in January to be replaced by an investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Shame is that the report will definitely show illegal actions but the wheels of justice turn too slowly to allow any actions to be taken before the midterms. The other problem is the public hearings won’t sway enough people. While I think there would be benefit in keeping the committee going their plan is to have their hearings and report finished well before the election so there won't be that much to shut down.
Yes though, we will be getting about seven Hunter Biden Commissions. After all, if January 2017-January 2021 taught us anything it's that Republicans are deeply committed to investigating corruption in the executive branch.
I generally agree, although I expect them to refer multiple people to the DOJ for criminal prosecution. Hopefully the DOJ acts on it.Shame is that the report will definitely show illegal actions but the wheels of justice turn too slowly to allow any actions to be taken before the midterms. They will try I believe, but they’ll be pardoned by the republican President in 2024.I generally agree, although I expect them to refer multiple people to the DOJ for criminal prosecution. Hopefully the DOJ acts on it.
Will be so helpful if and when the indictment comes, which will obviously be after the mid-terms at this point. So effective.
This will be ignored and they'll run out the clock.
