I neither support nor endorse this presidential candidate. Except for me to poop on! Just kidding.
I got a form email from our local liberal political activists to attend one of these (hint: try Durham as the city).
Each party has a baseball bat(?) which measures the campaign pledge amount from each party. What's up with the bat? A broom seem to much of a cliche?
Anyone gone to any of these for Dean? Or gone to any fundraiser? I went to a Dole dinner with my company picking up the tab ($1000/plate). I enjoyed listening to him speak and got to meet him. I felt a little guilty for eating and drinking for free so I threw a Jackson into one of the collection plates.
Now that would be a great idea for a movie. Someone who runs for office, just so they can take the contributions (something like The Producers).
