House of the Dead...good movie?

I love zombie movies like Night of the Living Dead, dawn of the dead, Day of the dead, etc. Is "House of The Dead" any good? I didn't see it in theaters and it's out on DVD right now....thinking about renting it tonight.

I heard it was BAD. One DVD review I read said that "you know a movie based on a video game is bad when they cut away from the movie to show actual video game footage".

Rent 28 Days later for your zombie fix. Don't get house of the dead.

That's the vampire one with the black guy and the vampire city right? If so 10x worse.

Big fan of zombie movies here...and I could find absolutely no redeeming qualities in House of the Dead - it really was that bad.

DONT WATCH IT. I want the 1.5hrs of my life back after seeing this crap. and yes, it's so full of crap that they do cut away to game footage.

i saw some of that movie and like a quote from rotten tomatoes "You'd have more fun standing in an arcade and watching someone else play the game."
