Will the Democrats have a majority after the November elections?

I voted no.

"Each week, Gallup releases a generic congressional poll which tests the pervasive lean of voters toward the two major parties. Two weeks ago, this metric show a record advantage for Republicans. The perference of voters in that survey was 50% for a generic Republican candidate and 43% for a generic Democrat."

"In August, 35.0% of American Adults identified themselves as Democrats. That’s down nearly half a percentage point from a month ago and is the smallest percentage of Democrats ever recorded in nearly eight years of monthly tracking. "

The Republicans might pick up a handful of seats. The Teabaggers and the Republicans are loud and claim to speak for all Americans, but they really don't.

I think the GOP will grab a slim majority in the House, a 2-3 seat margin. That is my prediction.

Dems will win by a landslide...America loves the job their doing and the direction we're going. /s

Actually my hope is that Republicans will make an effort to bring them into the legislative process.

It's still too early to tell. If the public thinks we're double-dipping in November Dems are in trouble.

What makes matters worse is Obama is doing a poor job positioning himself on all the identity politics issues. Even if he's right, only die-hard left-wingers are agreeing with him and the midterm elections will basically be a poll on Obama.

Die-hard left wingers and the Obama fan club might share some members, but a lot of left wingers view Obama as yet another corporatist center-right politician and merely as the lesser of two evils.

Need an option for "Not sure."

Will the Republicans win some seats? Yes. Will it be enough to gain any type of majority? I have no clue.

This is what I think, except in the reverse. I'm not yet convinced that things will be as bad for Democrats as some polls would have you think. I suspect that, rather ironically, the Democrat coalition that will sustain the heaviest losses will be the ones who are most conservative (Blue Dogs).

Well if tear party candidates run in states where they lost, it will siphon votes so in the end the change will probably be less then most expect. :(
That said if the government as a whole would just lock itself up and do nothing that would probably be the best option. :p
