Is the Tea Party a joke or what (Cantor, Ryan, and Bachmann voted for it)?

In any event, I was surprised it was so close. There were a lot of missing votes.

Here's a link to the list of Ayes and Nays:

This is right up there as one of the most mixed up messes you've ever posted. I've quoted you so we can see the before and after should you choose (if you're capable) to correct it.

"McGovern of Massachusetts Amendment No. 55"

"2:01 pm Last comes the McGovern amendment debated above that would ask the President for a plan to withdraw from Afghanistan. This failed by a very close vote. (Roll No. 373)"

Proves those who say they are "Tea Party" actually aren't. Votes speak volumes. They voted against having Obama create an exit from Afghanistan. Wolves in sheep's clothing.

EDIT: This amendment being passed would have assured the Bill failed when/if it reached the Senate.

Thanks for posting more information. This makes the OP's post more clear. But with no link to the article or blog that forms the basis of the post, it's pretty meaningless.

I'm not arguing or taking issue with anything presented here, in fact I don't much care, but posting stuff basically out of thin air kind of goes against the spirit of the forum. I do realize that sometimes links are required and sometimes not. I don't agree with it, but I do acknowledge that it happens.

It's sad this even came to a vote. The Taliban/AQ don't need to see support at home wavering...stuff like this should be handled back channel...
