Just ONCE, I'd love to see them get the diagnosis right on the first try just to screw with the audience. By now, I think that everyone knows that all of diagnoses during the first 45 minutes of the show don't stand a chance of being correct.... If they were, what would they do during the rest of the show? Show Cutty stripping again?

I just think it would be hilarious if the entire team got investigated for numerous cases of breaking and entering then they all went to jail.

They could even add a twist, say something along the lines of saving someone in the brig using cigarettes and smuggled bubble gum. McGuyver that shit up.

they did. The patient didn't bother to take his meds and he eventually died. His dog died too.

The point is there isn't a doctor like House anyway because everything he does is morally wrong (at least we hope, right?). So breaking and entering is well within the scope of the show .

It is indeed addicting, my mother and I just watched all the episodes that were on USA tonight. We had a nice long discussion about why those two guys always get the 'investigative' side of things. They get to break into the homes and get to act like they are part of CSI. Maybe we're just missing all the legal paperwork involved

Why can't House hobble his ass out and do something crazy like jump out of a window?

You can pretty much see a theme going through most of the episodes; if they figured out the cure within 11 minutes of the show, you can expect a patient to go into complete shock and having to do about 5 different tests. Let's not forget the brainstorming on the board! Regardless, I love watching it.

Also the episode where Chase (IIRC) says it's a tick bite but they can't find the bite. Right at the end House finds a tick bite in her vagoo.
