house hunters and the homes they show

slag

Any of you peeps watch "House Hunters" on HGTV where they show homes to perspective buyers and talk about them as they show the homes.

I just dont get some of these people/homes. The show I was just watching with my wife had them walk out the back sliding glass door and exclaim how nice and large their backyard was. It was like, maybe 20-25 feet from the house straight back to the fence and was as wide as the back of the house was. It wouldn't be large enough to do anything in, like, let your dog run, work on a project, plant a tree or two or anything.

And here they were, exclaiming how nice and large the backyard was and most of it was concrete patio with rocks around the 3 small shrubs.

BOGGLE. Maybe I am just used to my decent sized backyard here in the midwest.

In the midwest, we definately have much larger yards and the neighbors don't have houses on top of ours.

yep.

That is not a yard, it is a salad.

Here in Dallas, my friends place has a back yard. It's 3 acres of backyard. the funny part is his front yard is just big enough for a driveway and a mailbox.
