There is such a massive bureacracy that needs cuts and abolish the department of education and energy, abolish the TSA and DHS. There is billions in cuts but pelosi is too stupid like a typical leftist.

So what is your point? It's not worth controlling fraud, waste, and abuse because of their size relative to the total federal budget?

I don't buy that. $5m wasted is still $5m even if it is 0.001% of the total budget.

One of the greatest penny pinchers in the history of the federal government was forced into retirement by Electric Boat for not letting them get away with fraudulent cost overruns on a contract.

That is "military spending" that no one watches out for because they give the right people jobs when they leave the service and fund the right election campaigns.

Where is anything that is presently going on in terms in politics and budget waste are covered by tbe Constitution.
If the Congress and White House can not perform their legal duties, they should be forced to resign or at minimum, not get paid or allowed to spend their allotments.

Feeding children, taking care of the sick & the lame are entirely worthwhile endeavors, much more so than bombing brown people on the other side of the planet.

And, of course, if the fabled Job Creators! were all that tea twits believe them to be, we wouldn't need to take care of many folks at all. They'd be working, taking care of themselves.

Cut those useless programs and save the taxpayer billions. The military is more useful than these wasteful programs but it could still use cuts in the billions.

The military budget as well as general welfare should both be cut in half. No reason to have such a substantial standing military and charity can take care of those in need if the govt could lower taxes to the point people could donate with a larger safety buffer in their own finances. . cut the income tax by 25%, at least.

Heh. The delusion is strong in this one. Charity has never been adequate to address the economic problems this country has faced. It wasn't adequate in the Great Depression, nor has it ever been.

The usual right wing appeal to charity is just a disavowal of personal responsibility. If you hate doing it when you're compelled, there's no reason to think you'll do it voluntarily, is there?
