You are a fucking idiot. You can see all my posting during the 2016 election, once it became clear that Biden was the nominee, I was all behind him and I campaigned for him on my social media and to all my friends and family, of which some were really not happy that he got the nomination. I have also given him plenty of credit for what he accomplished.

This is the issue with pseudo intellectual corporate Dems though, once you don't toe the party line, you are just as bad as the repugs.

It's great Biden won in 2020 - of the Dem nominees he was probably the only one at the time - like I said right man right time - FUCKING BARELY though, something people gloss over when they don't want to live in reality. I went and partied in the streets of NYC when he did too. God forbid you have any self-awareness of your political party to call them out for the fuck ups though.
Who's the alternative right now? How would that person get a GOP house to pass a clean debt increase?

When you just go around complaining about him not being mythical it just helps the GOP with no up side.

Name someone else on the Dem side that's "up and coming" and most importantly can keep another Republican presidency from becoming our next reality.
I think Newsom has national exposure, and has been saying the right things about how to approach the evil that is the GQP today. Also, that is what a primary is about, to bring out good options. We'll never know who could have arose because nobody dared say anything until Biden made a decision. Both Bill Clinton and Obama came out of nowhere during their times. They were nobodies and written off when they first declared, or at least given tiny odds.

Nonsense. Obama was considered a likely future presidential candidate since 2004 and from the day he declared in 2007 he had strong institutional and polling support. He was behind Clinton by a good margin but he was always her strongest challenger by far.

I mean fucking Oprah endorsed him before he even declared his candidacy.

This ^. Obama was a candidate from the minute he gave that speech at the '04 convention.

But the question is, who then? Not Harris. Bernie been rejected twice. While Mayor Pete is likely a future POTUS, the MAGAtards won’t put up with a gay guy. Biden needs to flush this orange filth before normalcy can resume.

We don’t need a candidate to win over the unwinables, you need a candidate that appeals to the 80 million voters that voted for Biden the first time. Better than trump works if it’s just trump and Biden but if it’s not trump then the Dems are in trouble, they’ll have a tough time getting voters motivated and that’s the real issue.

Mayor Pete can't win the general.

The fact is just like when I supported Warren in 2020 and she was out, I will line up behind Biden and campaign for him. He is clearly the only choice and not only that, it's a must choice. I mean my posts have been quite clear all my time posting here. We have fucking morons calling anybody who dares criticize the Democratic machine as a Bernie Bro or MAGA. The stupidity is outrageous.

But I will criticize the Dems for being too willing to compromise and not be ambitious. We are where we are not just because of the evil that is the GQP, but also because the Dems fail at messaging and politicking way way way too much, and assume dumb things like 'people can't be that bad' or 'people are not that dumb' and 'we can trot out the same damn shit every time'. So I'll point out how this should have been handled differently now that it was just decided for a little bit, then I'll campaign for Biden. I'll shake my head at Dems who refuse to learn from anything and can't handle any criticism. And if he stumbles and fails during the campaign, of which there is a solid chance unfortunately, I will be very fucking sad.

But I know a lot of people who held their noses a little bit or more than a little bit and voted for Biden last time, because they had to. But I know a lot are going be like - this is what the Dems give us again, an 81 year old guy that inspires nothing in any of us during these dire times? And it will affect down ballot races. 100%. And pseudo intellectual dems who have shown they clearly don't understand much about the GQP, including how low they will go, will be like - why do people need to be inspired?

Imagine going through life and thinking people don't need to be inspired. Holy fuck batman.

I keep hearing this but the only people who wouldn’t vote for a gay guy are probably the same people who wouldn’t vote for a democrat, so who cares.

But it’s all a moot point anyway.

He is not going to primary his own boss unless things have really gone sideways.
Of course he wouldn't

Really? There are demographics who won't vote for Mayor Pete in the dem party. The 2020 primaries really exposed that. Personally I love him, he is inspiring, and I think he'd be a great president, but I'm not unreal about his weaknesses

Pete needs to be made secretary of state or VP to have a better shot in 2024. I liked him, but I'm weary of anyone without a real record.

yeah either position would be a fantastic lead up to a presidential bid for Pete

I prefer someone without ties to the security state.

That being said, if anyone has polls that show a reason for not supporting Pete is because he‘s gay (specifically democrats or even independents), I’d love to see it.

Isn't Biden just ONE year older than Trump? So age is really a red herring.

Also Trump didn't get shit done himself it was all Mitch the Bitch, Trump spent all his time begging the spotlight. So the inverse would be if not in the spotlight all the time, maybe someone is doing their job?

Yup age is a wash. Health wise, like morons think the orange monkey is more healthy than Biden? Mental capacity, sure both have brain farts but at least Biden has surrounded himself with people that support him and will 25A him is necessary. Okay fine, there were a few that wanted to 25A the orange monkey after Jan 6. But the one that mattered, Pence remained the butt kisser and turned it down.

Like both Pence and Moscow Mitch must regret that both had the opportunity to flush the orange turd from their party. Not idiots that didn’t want to be the ones to remove their party leader.
