They're not the prettiest of things but as others have said, they are very beneficial to have around. Next to probably spiders, they do the best job of keeping other pests under control. When I see one, which isn't that often, I just let him be unless it's in my bedroom/bathroom. Otherwise, I'll toss it in the garage. I'd much rather have a couple of those crawling around than roaches, ants, etc.
