Nick trying to entice people into wagering on elections and feeling he proves a point by doing so?
Don't I already have a bet with you? Want to make another?

Generic candidate polls for congress are meaningless. Everyone hates congress but loves their rep, or hates their rep less than the rest of congress.
Tell me again what was so terrible about Bill Clinton and Democrats in 1993-1994 why people voted for Republicans? What did Republicans pass?
Don't I already have a bet with you? Want to make another?
everyone can be pissed because of the economy but I highly doubt people have forgotten the incompetence that is the republican party.
I disagree...the typical American voter can't remember what he had for breakfast, let alone the catastrophic damage the Republicans always cause to the American economy.
Folks always seem to expect the Democrats to "wave a magic wand" and instantly fix what the Republicans took years to FUBAR...and as such, I expect the Dems to lose a few seats this fall...but HOPEFULLY, they'll pick up a couple here & there so that they don't end up as the minority again.
It all depends how many bribes the Democrats can get congress to pay for.
If employers lay people off in large numbers for FALL things could get rough.
Thats what the repugs are betting on. Like this new jobs bill is dead in the water. The repugs will do nothing to actually help as they want to blame and get back in power.

I guess he got more allowance money. Taking the trash out?
Sad but oh so true.This^^^. The American general public is stupid. For years they were brainwashed to believe Bush was a leader because he did not follow the will of the people, now they're brainwashed that Obama is out of touch with the public because he's doing the same thing. The republican propaganda machine + (Faux News) is a thing of beauty and a curse to behold. They do it better than anyone else.
You mean handouts to average, working Americans aren't so common. Handouts to the upper fraction of a percent are bountiful under GOP rule (not that they suffer much under the Dems either).Your idea of "fucked up" is that handouts aren't as common,
That worked so well for Wall Street, huh?businesses can actually make their own decisions
Not quite. People who work like dogs get laid off and their jobs offshored. It's that same upper fraction of a percent who reap the rewards of the workers.and people who work like dogs get paid for their labors.
Not really surprising that you cheer the demise of the American middle class. Given that you are quite obviously not one of those elite few, you've been brainwashed well.Of course you would think it's going to get fucked up, and in this case, I REALLY hope so.
