House approves national day of prayer.

As I said in a previous thread...

This quote pretty much sum up the danger of politicians.

to seek guidance from God to achieve a greater understanding of our own failings and to learn how we can do better in our everyday activities, and to gain resolve in meeting the challenges that confront our nation."

Church/state arguments notwithstanding....don't our elected officials have better things to do? 😕

yeah i guess they could focus their attention on the problems with restaurants not serving sweet tea.

The thing is, the sweet tea thing (however stupid) was a joke.....this is real. There was debate on the floor, a vote, the whole nine yards.

How do you know it hasn't hurt me before? I get sick at least once a year. How the hell do you know? Damn, I hate it when people, other people tell me what hurts me and what doesn't. Got it? How the hell do you know?

It hasn't hurt any of you before, so just don't worry about it.
