Wow, a whole hour.

i know its only an hour, but an hour in an airport waiting for someone feels like 10, unless i find something good to do!

So what does waiting in an airport for 10 hours feel like?

There should be some sort of bar or restaurant in the airport. Go flirt with a waitress or several.

Sit there and count your lucky stars that you're only trapped in Newark for an hour. That's one of the world's worst airports and it's located is a terrible area. Stay in the terminal, avoid making eye contact with strangers and at the first opportunity run towards to the gate to board the plane.

Go to terminal. Decide to buy book or magazine. Look for book/magazine store. Leaf thru available choices. Narrow it down to 2 or 3. Go for a walk and think about it. Decide to get a snack while trying to decide what book/magazine to buy. Look at available snack choices. Narrow it down to 2 or 3. Go walk around and make sure you have seen every available snack that is for sale. Make snack decision. Buy snack. Eat snack. Realize you need a drink to go with it. Look for drink choices. Narrow it down to 2 or 3. Debate between bar/cafe/sitdown place or buy-and-carry or vending machine. Decide. Buy. Drink. Return to book/magazine store and think about your choices some more. Finally, decide. Buy. Go to comfy place to sit and wait and read (after all that walking, you have picked out some nice comfy spots). Read and enjoy your magazine. Finish. Glance at listings of flight arrivals. Note that arrival time has been bumped back a few hours.

Repeat.

(This is what I usually do.)
