I don't use them for hotels, but it works okay for air fare. I did save about 15% a ticket using them, and when you are buying 4 tickets that adds up.

The hotel finder works great. It'll give you a hotel in a specified area at a specified rating. At least you can choose the general location as well as the quality. I got a hotel room in San Fran with parking and 1 block from union square for $69 a night on a weekend.

It's just like priceline or hotwire airfare - you don't know the time or airline you'll be flying, but that's the price you pay for getting an awesome deal.

Well in the area im looking, the hotels can range from absolute shitass, to beautiful.

But you should be able to specify the quality of the hotel, just like priceline...one-star, to four-star. (Although different sites' ratings will vary, so you might want to check up on that)

There is one that has SOME priceline hotels. RossMAN knows the link I think. Also tells you some details on the negotiations involved with priceline and stuff.

I'm using it right now to try to get a room in Vegas. This is for priceline, I haven't found a site for Hotwire though.

Yep that's the link, I personally hate/loathe/despise PriceLine and BFT isn't very helpful to newbies but they do have PriceLine down to a science.
