For those who don't know about white van speakers, Wikipedia to the rescue. These scams have been around for years.

Regarding Invicta watches, the Invicta "brand" is owned by a marketing company that owns a number of brand names. I've read that they are really nice and popular $70-100 watches with smart styling, but shouldn't be confused with more expensive watches.

That's not a fanboy statement like someone might say Nvidia sucks or AMD sucks, the brand truly sucks and their CS is worse!

It upsets me when 'shell shockers' are watches. Wish Newegg would stick to PC. If I need a cheesy leather jacket (or watch), I'll go to JC-Pennys!

Yes, I have an Invicta, it keeps lousy time and they really lie about the source of the components in there watches. There for a while they were claiming they used Seiko movements made in Japan, but Seiko denied that. They now give a movement number and claim they are made in Japan, but in fact are often sourced from china. So if you are looking for a cheap Chinese made watch they are not bad if you get a good deal on one. I pity the fool that pays for one in a jewelry shop! Even if they are offered at half price as they are often listed in local Brick and Mortar stores.
