I got the Explorer optical,from what I've seen this is a great deal. From a very reliable source.

I suspect these are OEM and not Retail?

I believe MS offers much better warrenty on retail. I know they ahve been great when i needed replacement for a keyboard. Anyone confirm?

well, the one I received is retail ;) and it's zackly like the one I saw for $70 bucks...lol, one of the nicer more useful deals in awhile.

not necesarily that hot, most of us got the explorer for 40 at staples and I sent in a rebate for another 10 so end total = 30 for explorer

Second, of COURSE a hot deal thread wouldn't belong in the FS/FT forum, AS THE INDIVIDUAL POSTING A HOT DEAL ISN'T SELLING ANYTHING.

Damn, people get stupid around here sometimes.

maxcom: thanks for the heads up! this is HOT! and i would have missed it, since i don't visit FS/FT anymore... doing business in there is too risky for me... but i know that jgs has been around for a while and is a reputable seller. pickin' me up one of those optical trackball explorers... they are SWEET, and you can't beat that price. woohoo!

Just ordered the Explorer and the Logitech Optical Blue - thanks for the tip - I'm in that forum all the time and pass right by Crazy Eddie - maybe because the title is so long - I don't think you are doing anything wrong - after all - this is a hot deal

apoppin, seen a lot of post about the pros and cons of the Explorer and the Razer Boomslang for fraggin' ( when the price point comes down to these levels I'll be first in line for the Boomslang)It'a radical looking mouse. RazerZone I can't bring myself to pay $100 bucks for a mouse.

Thanks, maxcom. So it's the MS Explorer optical for me (I can't afford $100 either for a mouse but I am going crazy with my standard one). $35 seems a really good price.

Actually, I was hoping the cheaper Intellimouse would do.
