I'd never buy that crap brand. Can get some really good Fuji's for only $19.99 most of the time at Best Buy. Never had a coaster once with those.

The Khypermedia CD-Rs have been pretty good for me. I usually pick up a pack when they get close to FAR, and haven't had a bad durn on them yet. I've used a few of the DVDs and not had any problems, but I think I might have used about 10. If you can get them for $20 at BB, you are better off sticking with higher quality TYs.

It all depends on how picky your burner is. Try a few to see if it works with your drive. Mine doesn't care if it's Princo, CMC, or TY so I like those cheapo Khypermedia CUSA puts on sale w/case for $10/50.

My burner loves these. They work a whole lot better than the Memorex dvd+rw i got last year. Plus I dont have a Fry's anywhere near (CT) so that doesn't really help me.

God I hate that brand. I've got an NEC 3520A and 1 out of every 5 don't burn at 48x which makes me burn at 24x. Even then, about 1 in 10 still fails.

I got some and they were CMC. Always worked well with pioneer bitsetting drives. Although that "made in india" media I got from target for $1 more was much better :)

I've had the best luck with Fujis. SamsClub sells them for $20 per 50 DVDs (but it might be $40 for a 100 pack) and Best Buy them either at $10 for 25 or $20 for 50 almost every other week.
