About damned time...

(yes I already have gmail, but the daily warnings at hotmail about my file size were getting annoying)

still @ 2mb

I actually called MSN the other day and asked when it was going to be given to the masses. The rep said that it's slated to be done by EOY.

I use my Hotmail account to collect spam. But the annoying thing is that it deactivates itself after so many months of usage so any quota increase is mostly useless to me.

Just logged into mine for the first time in a few weeks. Yes, it's now at 250MB. Too bad I'll never use it again (thank you, Gmail!). Hotmail deleted all my inbox messages, maybe during an attempted upgrade (not due to my not logging in as I used to check it daily), and told me I was out of luck in regards to retrieving them once their Janitor deletes the messages. Even if you upgrade to the $20 account and that happens, you're out of luck -- they don't backup anything. So, what's the advantage of paying $20 for the upgrade? Ooh, I get even more storage space for spam.

same thing happened to me. they deleted all my mails that I've received since 1997 :( I had so many memories in those emails... friends, girlfriends, family... all gone :(

I use it for MSN Messenger only.
