hotmail down?

no good for me, I cant hit www.hotmail.com
www.passport.com is down too so I cant hit anything that relies upon it.

I have an account with them, but would sacrifice it for the good of the land if Hotmail never came back into existence.

It looks to be uplevel of the servers, I've run a series of traceroutes to differant MS servers (ones I can hit like microsoft.com and ones I cannot like passport.com). The ones that are dying are dropping packets between the sprint backbone and microsoft's connection to it.

My guess would be there is routing issues @ the sprint/microsoft connection point.

If you have MSN Messenger, use that as a portal to your hotmail account. Mine is working that way.
