this is for anybody that knows what hotline is and knows how to use it...

Im trying to setup a server on it but ive got a netgear router so ive encountered some problems...

1.. I dont know my WAN ip address because it is constantly changing.
2.. I know my port # is 5500 for hotline but i dont know exactly how to configure it.

please.. somebody here has got to have setup a server on hotline before... help me out...

You need to go to Hotline's website and/or do a search first to find out which ports (both TCP and UDP) you need to forward from the Netgear to your server behind the router. I believe you can find the info in a pdf that they have up on running multiple Hotline servers on a single machine (or on google). It's definitely more than just port 5500.

You don't need to know your WAN address if you plan on listing on the trackers. But if you're going to attach a dynamic DNS or any DNS you of course need to know your IP.
