BUY.COM just lowered prices. Buy 2 and put in a $30 off $150 returning customers(that deal was floating around yesterday) and get 2 for $134 + shipping. Thats under $75 each people.. These processors can be overclocked crazy!

Great deal! Now I'll have something to "write on" with my conductive pen from Chemtronics! :D ...now I wonder if Bunta is still the best deal on the Epox 8kta+?

So does it matter where duron was made?
From what I heard Duron made in Germany is better overclocker?
Something like that?

Don't forget there is also a $10 off $75 coupon for returning customers if you only want one.

@Buy.com that is. Not Onvia

The retail T-bird 900 is also $209. Use the $30 coupon, and I got it for $182 shipped. :) I know it's not the bargain the Duron is, but for better performance...it may be worth it to you.

Yeah, I saw that early this morning also. If you don't need two, use the $10 off $75(Returning customer), or $20 off $100(Returning customer) from techbargains. There is also an Athlon 900 for $178 after returning customer coupon.

Too bad I already bought a Duron from pricewatch for the same price on Monday, but I won't get the three years warranty.

I dunno if the 700 can do 1ghz, perhaps someone else has the answer to that question, and a second question if you please:

anyone know if there are any plans to come out with a dual cpu socket a capable mb? If so, which brand?

sweet deal, just like the last 600 deal.
2 processors, 1 coupon, nice price ;)

come get your 950+ CPUS!

Note: my first 600 did 978 stable w/ globalwin fop-32-1 and the 2nd one is currently at 998 w/ FSB at 105, clock at 9.5 and memory running at 140. she's a screamer.

I see these are listed starting at $59 on pricewatch. Are the ones listed here different than those?

godzilla,

the duron 700's you are seeing on pricewatch for 59.00 are the oem version, which only has a warranty of usually 90 days to 1 year. sometimes the warranty on these oem's are store warranties as well.

the ones listed on this deal are the retail boxed duron 700's which come w/ a 3 year AMD warranty and they have factory heatsink and fans included.

they really are awesome about the warranty too. my friend said he fried his amdk6-2 300 accidentally and they sent him a new one without any questions.... the only thing was, when he got his package, it was actually an amdk62-500!!!!! they were out of the 300's so gave him a free upgrade LOL talk about a deal :Q;)

otherwise however, they are exactly identical in every way. imho, its very much worth it to spend the extra $15-20 dollars to get the retail version just for the warranty. especially if you are thinking of overclocking it.

Exactly, and I would rather deal with buy.com than any other place. They are a great company who does their customers right.

I broke down and bought a T-bird 900 since it costs about the same as a T-bird 850 (with the coupon of course). Hopefully I can use it in a dual DDR board in the next six months.
