Next time you are about to stay at a hotel, try the following to be upgraded to a better room or even a suite with a $20 tip to the hotel clerk.

3. Have a folded $20.
4. Go to your hotel check-in desk clerk. (be friendly)
5. When they ask for a credit card, have the folded $20 underneath the credit card and ask if they have 'any complimentary upgrade'
