This seems like quite a deal, but I haven't really heard much about these before. Here is where you get them, at Computer Surplus Outlet. If you know anything about them, I would love to hear it, because this sounds like something fun to mess with. Typing in the living room instead of in my room :)

Seems like a good deal. Anyone know the capabilities these come with or if they can be hacked? It mentions you need an ISA wireless card for them to work which makes me wonder a bit.

FYI: NOTE: These units will not work without the CruiseLAN card & Access Point ISA card; We have tested with DOS, WinNT 3.51 & Windows 3.11

Saw this yesterday at techbargains. Personaly I think these units are useless. You have to buy extra non-standard PCI card or PC card or Access point in order to use the pads, (CSO only have the PC Card for $30 at this time). They only support Windows 95, Windows 3.0/3.1. These pads are at least 10 years old.

Computer Surplus Outlet is a flaming pile of crap. They tend to sell the
same stuff as places like CompGeeks, but at higher prices. (Sometimes their
descriptions are nothing but a copy of what's on the CompGeeks site).
On the rare occasion they have something novel, it's either way overpriced
or junk. This deal qualifies under the latter catagory.

As soon as I see a "deal" is at CSO, I walk on. No deals there.
