From the site:
YHT-21 Natural Sound One-Box Home Theater Audio System

Provides an easy way to purchase a home theater component system. The YHT-21 includes Yamaha's three-piece NS-AP101 speaker ensemble, a pair of NS-E60 rear effects speakers, and a YST-SW40 subwoofer, plus Yamaha's R-V703 home theater receiver which delivers Dolby Pro Logic and can handle the decoded output of 5.1 channel sources.

Consists of the following models:

-Receiver- R-V703
-Main speakers- NS-A427
-Center/surround speaker package- NS-AP101
-Powered Subwoofer- YST-SW40
-System carton dimensions (W x H x D) 21? x 41? x 15-1/2?

$249.99, free ground shipping

Check out the site for more details. A good deal for a midrange starter system in my opinion.

i think the rear speakers are weak.. 20 W..

I paid 199 for a Philips Magnovox system at circuit city (right now 299 - 30 MIR) about a week or so back.

I think that is a better system than the Yamaha, even though "we" are yet to set it up. Thinking sometime after thanksgiving I will set her up.

i think yamaha certainly rates them more conservatively than most. you can walk into radio shack and find speakers rated at 100 watts for 10 bux a pair (little table top speakers), doesnt mean they can actually handle it without distortion. the cone size in the rears is 5", which is about the right size for setups like this. i still think its a good starter set, but i dont know much about the head unit or the subwoofer.

Good entry-level home theater in a box setup for a small room- the speakers will suffice until the buyer can upgrade later on. Bump!
