i've been running my 1,2 ghz. axia-9 for a while with a no-brand ("DR. COOLER") COOLER MASTER heatsink + fan that (I had been told) was fit for up to 1,2 Ghz.
Ok, i've been running it slow at 53ºc up to 1,37 ghz (137x10), but if you try full stroke it warms up to 59-60ºC (even at standard voltage, multiplier and fsb, ie 1,75, 9, 133), which i think is dangerous, or is it not?, and appart from the danger, would i really benefit from a better heatsink + fan specially as it concerns fsb?
thanks

If the cooler is the same as what comes with the retail tbird, swapping to a good cooler will make a huge difference. A co-worker of mine dropped 15C going from stock coolermaster to a MC-370A Swiftech. The stock coolers are terrible IMO.

I recommend you ready your credit card and order online a new high performance HSF right away. I highly recommend the Vantec HS. After getting it I realized what a piece of cr@p my chrome orb was when my idle temperature dropped about 20ºC. ;)
