HOT WD 160GB $89.99 w/ $30.00 Rebate

im still upset that the previous rebate hitachi 160gb deal i paid 100 for and the 50 rebate is invalid because they claim that it was postmarked beyond their speciified period

invalid my ass. why they even bother emailing me? just pretend it got lost in the USPS system.

only consolation is the hitachi has 3 year warranty... it not too expensive for $100 and i needed it for my new AMD rig...
only get it if you can bear the price you pay without the rebate, and WD only has 1 year warranty, lately WD are crappy and i would suggest anybody interested to wait for a seagate deal
 
The link to the Outpost rebate comes in 2 pages. The first page says 11-10-04 to 11-17-04. The actual rebate page that you fill out to turn in has the dates expiring on the 16th. I was going to order this drive but the date discrepancy would worry me that the rebate may be refused. I'll wait for the next deal.
