Hot/warm? Daewoo dvd/cd/vcr combo @ BB for $79.99

This looked like a pretty good deal to me although I'm not certain about Daewoo's reliability.

I don't have any experience with Daewoo players, but that's a good price for a combo player.

I have a daewoo 5700 dvd player that I bought from sams club about 1.5 years ago and it is bullet proof. Plays just about everything and best part is, it is hacked for both region free and Macrovision free.
Also costco has daewoo dvd p480 for $50, no hacks yet.
But this is good price for combo.
to me so far, daewoo has perfomed high reliability. Used to think that samsung, daewoo were junk, not so now.

So far I had no problems using Daewoo products.
And for dvd/vcr combo..that is pretty good price.

Aldi has a Tevion one starting on the 17th in store. Plays MP3s on the CD, CD-RW, VCD, etc. $90 though.

i've heard, that there'll be a combo player on sale for $30 on black friday.. i think it was target that my friend told me, but it could be walmart since she works at walmart

I ordered it as a Christmas present for my parents. If a better deal comes out I'll just return it and go with the better deal.

These have been coming down in price recently. Last year on Black Friday, they were $99 at a few stores and went within minutes. Now you can get them for $99 easily. There is this model at BB, and Amazon has a Sylvania model for $99. You can pay a little more and get a good brand like Toshiba with a progressive scan DVD player for around $140 as well. As the DVD recorders start to become affordable, anything with a VCR will get cheaper quickly, including these.
