Saw these at Albertsons grocery store today.

They had the "military chopper command" and "police chopper command"

These were known as Vertibirds in the 1970's -- and are very fun.

Jasman makes Sea Rescue Chopper Patrol, and it's probably the best one.
They didn't have this one at the Albertsons I was at, but I'll definately be on the look out for one.

Online price is commonly $25 + shipping.

Will make a good Christmas gift

OMG, how young are you? How could you not know what a vertibird is. Oh, you were born in the 80's? It's more or less a little helicopter on a wire that goes around in a circle. It's got a little control so you can go forward, backward or hover. When you are a kid, you pretend you are a chopper pilot rescuing people, or you get your little green army men out and you mow them down...

Ahhhhhh yes, the old "Vertibird Rescue/Attack Vehicle". When my dad got tired of buying three packs of four "D" cells in the first week, I bought a used Radio Crap 12VDC power supply at a flea market. The control wire would bend far enough that the blades from the main rotor would hit... The toy dissappeared when I used lighter fluid to simulate a life boat fire with the cheezy plastic orange life boat :D.

I had one of these when I was a kid...and that was in the 70's

I loved my vertibird......I think I broke mine trying to lift too much weight.

Lucky I don't have kids yet, cos I always wanted one of those when I was little and never got it :( so they wouldn't either.

And if I did break down and get it for my son, it'd be like in that link the dude posted with the dad playing with it and the kid just watching, heheh.
