I just hate to see good paper go to waste. How about newspaper? Anyhow, great price. Can you email out when you have those Airnet cards avail?

Just everyone who buys from this guy, be aware that you are helping a criminal. It may come back to haunt you eventually.

A criminal? Those are strong words. Did the creator have a patent on his design? A copyright on his code? If the anser is no, then you are way off base....

Here's your answer. The software that makes this card run, and which this guy offers for download, came from this page:

http://www.silicondust.com/agreetou_download.html

See the copyright notice? It says "© Copyright Silicondust Engineering Ltd". Good enough?

BTW, the CD image contains code copyrighted by many others, which I'm sure the xtremetivo guy didn't contact and ask permission to use (which Nick did).

I've had enough of this sh*t, and said what I had to say. Bye.

stamasd is absolutely right. not only is xtremetivo.com infringing on Nick Kelsey's copyrights, the product he is offering is not the same as the true TurboNet cards available from 9thTee and PTVupgrade; the boards he copied are 'beta' versions and there is a problem with the initial design which was corrected in the final release.

in addition, xtremetivo.com is also violating TiVo's trademark rights by using TIVO in the domain name.

for those of you who don't seem to care about people's intellectual property, by all means, support a criminal, however hold yourselves accountable in being educated about the choices you are making.

If you feel saving $20 is worth supporting this sort of piracy, by all means do so - but know that it is not only unethical, it is also illegal.
