Hot! Strategic commander $ 5.99 + Tax

Just got home from BigLots! with my new Sidewinder Strategic Commander picked up for $ 5.99 + tax. No PM, MIR, or hassles. Got mine up at the Brickyard BigLots Store (formally known as MacFrugels). I have no idea if this deal is nation wide. They still had atleast four to five more left sitting in the home electronics section. Below the head phones, CD repair kits and all that stuff. Enjoy!

Not to thread crapping, but I found this thing quite useless. Good price for those who know how to use it.

EVERY time a deal on the SC comes up people say how it's useless to them, and more people come back saying how they must be stupid because it's incredibly useful to them. How about we avoid that this time?
If any of you play Thief or Thief II, give that controller a go in those games. I promise it'll make your life easier (I've got a good profile on hand if anyone doesn't want to create their own).

Bump for fresh eyes and perhaps those who might find this useful. By the way, I haven't looked yet, but is there a site which post profiles submitted by people for different games compatible with this controller?

Upon opening the package I soon discovered these are designed for left hand use. No indication on the package letting me know right or left handed. Were these originally designed to be used with the left hand?

yes its designed for left hand use ( for a right hand person ). u use it with left hand, and use the right hand for mouse. I can see how it can be used for q3 (or any new fps game), not sure if it will be really good not.
