Best Buy is currently running a promotion where you buy any phone except a couple exclusions with 2 accessories for $9.99 each and get 50% off the price of the phone.

Well, Best Buy doesn't carry the LG 5350 anymore or at least not at my local BB.

I went to Circuit City today and told them about Best Buy's promotion and said I wanted to price match the LG 5350. I told them that Best Buy has it for $199.99 (retail value).

They went ahead and pricematched it with 110% policy and whoila, I got the LG 5350 from Circuit City for $89.

The only thing is, you have to buy 2 accessories like the Best Buy deal. The cheapest accessories CC offers are $19.99, so you have to pay total of $89 + $40 + tax. But, it is likely that you can return the accessories and get your $40 back since there is nothing special written on the reciept regarding the deal.

This phone is very good, highly rated by reviews, and a perfect phone for an upgrade for the Sprint Vision Service.

The cheapest I found the phone was $149 at Radio Shack, all other stores have it for $199, So $89 is a pretty nice deal and it will work with any customer, even existing since there are no rebates to mess with.

$89? Well, I just bought this phone last week at Radioshack for $49, no rebate. From FW I think this is a nationwide promotion at Radioshack.

yhea, Radio Shack does have it for $49 with no rebates, but thats only for NEW CUSTOMERS. If you an exisiting customer, Radio Shack won't give you the $100 instant rebate, so its $149.

My way, you can get it for $89 with no rebates, and it works with EXISTING CUSTOMERS.

Does anyone know exactly what phones the Best Buy promotion includes?

Does anyone know when this Best Buy promotion ends?

Say that you go to Circuit City for a price match as someone above did, that person said that Best Buy didn't carry the phone anymore, but was still able to price match his LG phone. Possible? Impossible?

Just curious. Looking to get a new phone.

The promotion includes all phones EXCEPT:
Sanyo 5300
Treo
and Sanyo I300 or whatever its called

And once again, YMMV becuase it depends on the representative and if they go ahead and assume that Best Buy is carrying the phone for $199.99. They already know about Best Buy's 50% deal currently going on and they know it covers almost any phone. But, my representative believed me when I told him that I just went down to Best Buy and saw the LG 5350 for $199.99 - 50% w/ 2 accessories.

So if your rep assumes you are right and that Best Buy sells it for $199.99, then you can get it, but if he wants to make sure and call Best Buy up first, then you won't get it, becuase Best Buy will tell him that they don't even carry the phone anymore.

I also got the Sanyo 5300 price matched at Circuit City, but not with the 50% deal becuase it excludes the 5300. Instead, Best Buy is selling it for $299.99 after $100 IR. So Circuit City pricematched it, and I got it for $289, which is a pretty hot deal as well.

I can't speak on the LG 5350 quality/signal/performance, becuase I bought it for my brother and have not tested it. But as far as the Sanyo 5300, its easily the best flip phone on the market for Sprint. And you won't find a better Sprint Signal phone than the Sanyo.

Great Deal! I just got back from Circuit City with a Samsung A500 for 134.99, no rebates involved. The list price on this is 299.99. And if you're a new customer there are 150 bucks worth of rebates available from Sprint. So basically you'll make 15 bucks on the purchase of this phone. I did have to pick up 2 - 9.99 accessories which I will return tomorrow. I also bought the 60 buck 3 year service plan which sounds like a deal because if something goes wrong with your phone within 3 years, then they will give a new phone. If they don't have your phone than they will give you a "comparable" model. Otherwise they always let you use the amount you spent on the phone toward the purchase of a new one.

Thanks for the hot deal!

I have the LG5350 and love it. I had the 5200 and it sucked but I have had zero problems with reception/battery with my new one.

I went to BB the other day, and the only LG they had was the 1010 model. Do they just not carry LG's anymore or something? I got the 3 year replacement dealie and that's how I got my LG5350 but if I can get an even better phone now... :)

I went out tonight, got CC to match the 50% off on the Samsung A500, called Sprint to drop my added phone which the A500 was replacing, they gave me a $150 credit to keep the same number (no having to fool with the rebate)! So here's the deal:

Samsung A500 - Free - With price match and Sprint Credit
2 Accessories - $30
Extended Battery (Offer in box) - Free
Scoring a great deal - Priceless

Thanks for finding such a great deal, this definately tops getting paid $3 by CC to take a DWL-900 Access Point Home.
