Hot Spot!!! Does your Library have one?

This is cool. Just signed up to use the Librarys Hot Spot (Wireless Internet Access). Now I can do my research in the library.

Using a Microsoft MN-520 802.11b PC card, here's my Speed Test. 798 kbps download/867 upload.

The library here has wireless. Most of the buildings on campus are covered, though. It's nice.

They all do in the city I live in. Its for a $3 an hour fee, though.

We are also going to be getting free hotspots at rest stops along I-94 through Racine county within the next year.

It's a Public Librarys (Orland Park, IL) Hot Spot I'm using. My local Panera Bread and Border's (Starbucks) has Hot spots too.

Not sure what the range is on this. I'm sitting inside the library. I'll try it outside later, but it is raining.

Speed Test - Outside Library 1351/867. Better than my Earthlink DSL service @ 1345/345. :Q
