My mom loves hot soup. Loves it. She's one of these people who could happily eat it for lunch every single day. Weather it's the dead of winter or a blistering hot summer day. She claims that eating hot soup in hot weather cools you down because it makes you sweat, or something to that effect. It just makes me feel yukky; too hot inside and out. I pretty much put away the winter comfort foods come summer and get my BBQ on. She thinks it's weird I feel this way about soups and stews come the hot weather.
What's ATOT's consensus on this issue. Do you enjoy piping hot soups and stews in the summer?
