800.com has these in stock again.

1. Buy a $250 GC to 800.com @ GiftCertificates.com and get a $50 one free
2. Add the SAT-T60 to your cart at 800.com
3. Add something to go over $400
4. Use Passport checkout and pay using GCs and CC

$400 - $200 MIR - $80 MSN - $50 GC =

$70 + a $50 GC to 800.com! (Only $20 if you consider the 800.com GC cash!)

You do have to activate the reciever with DirecTv, but there is no minimum sub.

This deal is especially hot for those with Sony systems who like Sony and don't want Phillips or Hughes DirecTivo boxes.

Good find bobofoosh. This is definately a hot deal considering you get the Sony brand with Tivo. I like the menu system on sony better than the rca. The friends and family deal is cheaper... but with this you get Tivo (not counting Tivo subscribtion...)

I did this deal (have one on order), didn't get all aspects of the deal, unfortunately. Here's what I learned:

1. MSN/800.com pulled out. That part is dead. 800.com no longer a part of MSN passport rebate.
2. $50 GC.com is only with a business account, but you can get it if you do it this way. Worked for me.
3. 800.com has sketchy stock on this item. It was out for about a week, just got some back in. Don't wait.
(I nearly shiat when they went out of stock. I started to have Flooz flashbacks when I realized I was sitting on $300 worth of GiftCertificates.com certs and I couldn't get anyone on the phone.)
4. The 800.com $50 gift card offer says "not good if paying with gift Certs" HOWEVER, my order says that my gift card DID ship. YMMV.

So the net for me was around $158 OOP plus I'm holding a 800.com $50 gift card. If you count that as cash, I'm at about $110 You can also find the Philips/DirectTV version of this unit for about $100 shipped on Ebay these days. I like the Sony's remote better, but the specs are otherwise identical.
