This is the nice Sony Trinitron with the Dual-inputs. I found this deal while in Sam's Wholesale this morning. Not sure how long it's been there or how widely available it is. But they had several at the Franklin, TN store. You can get some more info and description here. The lowest on Pricewatch for this is $341, plus about $50 for shipping!

Someone who sees this, PLEASE copy down the SKU number. I was in Northern VA looking for these - I might "take a gander" again tomorrow at two Sam's.

Just came back from Sam's here in Montgomery Alabama. They had a display and
4 under the shelf.

I bought one in May of last year, price $425 delivered.

This is a great monitor, everyone that sees it talks about how easy
it is to view.

The visual quality of thie monitor is great at 1600/1200 right? Are there any monitors that come close in quality and price?

Im seriously considering dumping my planar 18.1 for this.

I just picked one up at Sam's in New Mexico. They had only 2 left. Very nice monitor and the dual input allows for a better quality picture than when I was using a KVM for both of my computers.

I got this monitor in August of 1998, and am typing on it right now!

I've shipped it about 8 times, and it is still working great. This was an awesome monitor back in it's day. I don't know how it compares to the 955F, since I've never seen one....

sony monitors always looked so nice to me..
used to have a 15 inch sony monitor, then upgraded to a 17 inch flat screen nec..
never felt the nec monitor was up to sony's quality..
time to get me a new monitor
