No question its sony media, just do a google search on that manufacturer #. The question is whether its REALLY a 50 pack or a 300 pack. See here for why I question whether this is a 50 pack or a 300 pack.

I think its a price misprint guys, there are 2 listings with the same exact Mfr's # (300CDQ80SBB) both Sony discs:

"300 PK CDR MEDIA 700MB 80MIN 16X Mfr#:300CDQ80SBB" - $19.95
"CDR 80MIN SHINY SILVER BULK 300PK Mfr#:300CDQ80SBB" - $117.19

Seems a little suspicious that there is such a price difference in the listings for CDs with the same Mfr#'s ... I'm guessing the price should be $119.95 or something to that effect.

Good price if its for real, but I smell pricing error. Just search on google for 300CDQ80SBB and you'll come up with other manufacturers selling the Sony 300packs for around $100.00

BTW- here's a picture of what the Sony discs might look like. It has the same Mfr# of this package but a 50-pack of the discs. Just hope you guys don't get 50's instead of 300's: Link to picture ... Just check out the Mfr# on that 50 pack.

EDIT- Doh Luckster beat me to it! :)

Interesting, yes. This might be an error. If you search on 300CDQ80SBB, you'll find a few vendors' prices in the $20 neighborhood, but for 50-disc spindles. Then the prices jump to around $105 and up for quantity 300. Strange that the same mfr. part number applies to the 50 and the 300, but there you go. Try your luck!

Oh..yeah, it's definitely is Sony.

Tried searching for this exact same mfr.# at pricegrabber, there were only two that list such a low price.

$19.95 at pagecomputer
$29.59 at True Data Technology Link
$105.13 at TheNerds.net
$105.54 at Crux Works Inc
.
.
.
etc.

When putting in this part number, pricegrabber shows it's a 300pk sony but at the second cheapest on the result page (True Data), it said "CDR 80min shiny silver spindle bulk 50pk"

Yes, is anyone going to call and MAKE SURE NONE OF US GETS IT?

people, it's $20. Take a risk, or don't. But for god's sake don't call them.

use a reputable credit card and you won't pay a cent if they don't deliver as advertised.

I'm waiting on somebody to confirm a charge. They probably have it mis printed on the site, and when they process your order you will probably get hit with a $119 charge. However, if it really is $19, sign me up!

SOMEBODY CONFIRM!!

Here's the way I see it. I got the confirmation e-mail stating the order of 2 packs of 300-pack Sony CD-R's. If they do not deliver what they advertised, I could get my money back from my CC company, without a problem, or I could make sure that they do deliver based on the email. We'll see in a week or so.

Can anyone cofirm whether these Sony CDR's are of high quality? Or does Sony only make higher end CDR's?

Pricing and Typographical Errors
Due to the fast pace of the computer and consumer products industries, all prices are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to provide you the most accurate, up-to-the-minute information. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items on our web site may be mis-priced. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic, or technical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Page Computer shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.

Seems they are well covered, but I'm well covered too by an e-mail confirmation showing the qty and price and a MasterCard ShopSafe CC number. :D

Worst thing is they'll just cancel the order.

buy.com did the same thing with memory cards. They cancelled the orders and gave a $20 gift certificate to all those who were "inconvienced". They did it for another item too, and they honored the wrong price for those who place an order. Like I said, we'll see in a week.
