Yeah, this place is great. I've been going there for the past 2 years or so, ever since my friend told me not to go to Pomona anymore. Free parking, no admission, and the best part is that it's almost as big as Pomona (and bigger than any other computer show in So Cal).

It's in an open parking lot, and they don't provide parking spaces, but usually there are people leaving at all times. You just have to be patient :)

Also, if you're looking for old parts to fix an old computer or something, look here first. Bunch of dealers with 486 motherboards, 10 year old laser printers, coaxial ethernet, 14.4k modems, etc.

They have their shows on the last Sunday of every odd month.

Parking is usually free and not $3. This is where I buy my ink for the Epson 880.

ya parking is free i have no idea what you're talking about. ive been going for years.

Bad_Dude, happen to know which guy you buy the ink from? maybe his info is on the receipt or something. i'd still like to find a good color refill for hp 6578 carts. the last one i took a chance on was pure bunk. from some korean guy next to that table where that lady sells the drinks n stuff.

Hot Deal Not!

But I go several times a year, been doing so for long before the www and internet.

Some people to pay the "scalpers' to park. Hope you all find what you want.

Again... this is a regional thing in Orange County.

I have been to this before and its an ok deal. The vendors at lacomputerfair are 95% new stuff. This is more or a swapmeet.

Does someone have a link for the site for the show? The one in the original post is just a map location link...

yup. it used to be you can just tack on 10bucks to pricewatch. now its around 15 or so. since we all use pricewatch online, i still consider it a good deal, except maybe for the fluke coupons etc.

Not really...the computerfair charges around $350(and up) a day and fully qualifies their vendors(and kicks out any troll types). The ACP has some of the same vendors, but no where near 100%, probably well under 50%. Why do ya think its free? Cuz there nice? I have been keeping away from the shows because the price to get in, park, and drive there is just too much(not to mention all the d@mn people to wade through).

They are in santa barbara every once in a while...Heres there link
