Hot Shots Golf

Was looking for a gold game for kids.

A lot of people said hot shots golf.
I can only find hot shots 3.

is this still a kids game or did they up the requirements on a newer release/upgrade?

 
it may look childish but the game is not very childish.

by that i mean it's got a cartoonish look, but the game has better physics and gameplay than tiger woods. however, not too much has changed since hot shots 1 on psx as far as the gameplay goes, other than in the new PS3 one they added a new swing mechanic, but you can still use the old one if you please.

hot shots 1 and 2 are on psx, 3 and 4 on ps2, and 5 came out a couple months ago on ps3. there are also 2 versions on PSP.

its by far my favorite golf game. i play it daily on ps3.
 
thanks for the info. Will this be ok for 10-13 year old to play or should I look elsewhere?

So are all versions basically the same in game play?

Yes, it would be great for a 10-13.

Yes, all versions pretty much the same gameplay wise.
