They actually have a wing recipe under recipes.

I love this stuff.

I had my SIL convinced that it was made up of ground up roosters and peppers heh.

WHATTA BLAST

i have a couple of the infamous peppers
in the extra special virgin olive oil for bread dipping and drizzling over pizza
it amazes me how exspensive the really good oil is but boy is it worth it,
i got some really bad samples of sauces today, i should ve known by the names
but i tried them anyways and they were 100% heat NO TASTE--im still sweating
them off- definately not what i was looking for
1-hot sauce from hell-the best of the worst
2- fvcking hot sauce--nasty taste-nasty-heat
3-farenhiet 500---just sucks-
4-total death----the makers should die for putting this on the market

thanks guys

Personally, I also like to go for heat and flavor. I haven't found anything that really beats Red Hot, mixed with enough Dave's Insanity or Hot Sauce From Hell to give it an appropriate amount of kick. 95% of the super hot sauces seem to be aiming for the "I bet you can't eat it" market, rather than the "this tastes awesome" market.

Man this thread is packed with suburbanite white people.. no mention of FRANKS

While it's not the hottest the flavor is great! You can heat it up with other stuff anyway.

edit: DrPizza got to it...he is certainly from NY ;)

We're talking hot sauce son.

I do shots of Franks with my eggs in the morning and use it to to store my contacts.

Nobody mentioned Franks because the guy said he wanted heat, not because the thread is packed with suburbanite white people.

Hottest sauce I've ever encountered:

http://www.hotsauceblog.com/hotsaucearchives/black-mamba-hot-sauce/

I happened across a booth at the MN state fair last summer selling nothing but hot sauce. I love spicy food so I figured I'd scan the goods. I asked the guy running the booth about the hottest thing he had. Since I'm sure he gets that request all the time, he had a bottle open and waiting for people to try. He dipped a toothpick into the bottle and handed it too me. There was barely a taste on the end of it. I put it on my tongue, and instantly felt a burning in my mouth. I can handle pretty hot food, but I quickly thanked the guy and ran off to the nearby beer garden to get something to drink.

Well this isn't really a wing sauce, but I've spend hundreds of dollars in search of the perfect hot sauce, and for my money you can't beat Blair's Sweet Death. It's not very hot, at least not to anyone who isn't a sissy. I believe it claims ~3000 scoville units which is just a little hotter than tabasco. But it has a sweet taste to it... it's just so good. I buy it by the case.

A lot of the sauces I've found are carrot-based. NAST. You can taste the a hint of carrots in them, and you can see the little carrot bits in the sauce. Tomato-based sauces are where it's at. Vingegar-based sauces are alright.

Another good and (cheap sauce) that I really like is Taco Bell's fire sauce. Unfortunately they only sell the medium version in stores, which isn't nearly as good.

Edit:
If you just want something really hot, find a sauce you like and mix it with some Dave's Insantiy Sauce or some other really hot sauce (or pure capsaicin)

QFT. Too many people go overboard on the heat in an attempt to be macho.

They lose sight of the point. This is food. If it doesn't taste good, or it's too hot to taste at all, then what is the point?

FWIW, my this thread and my addiction got the better of me. I had to get 'em!

Taco Bell fire sauce (false advertisement ;)) isn't bad, but it reminds me too much of Pace Picante.

But, it does have the benefit of being complimentary. :)

My recipe is both HOT and TANGY...to the point it burns....

the secret is Vinegar... yea thats where the taste for all hot sauces comes from.

mix franks original and apple cider vinegar in a 2:1, then add tobasco sauce, fresh garlic, parsley flakes, and a stick of margarin. Bring to a boil.

the vinegar actually makes it hotter, and it clears your sinuses.

1. Franks Red Hot (for tang)
2. Wingers Sauce (for sweet)
3. Put non crushed sea salt on the chicken, throw it on the grill, cover chicken with lime juice as it cooks, and eat.

Note, those are 3 separate ways to do wings, don't do all of those on the same chicken.

Frank's RedHot is weak, in both heat and flavor departments. The sauce that comes in the Margaritaville four pound box of wings is both hotter and tastier.

I tried Nuclear Hell years ago, and it was one of the better sauces for heat and flavor, without going overboard on the heat. It looks like they have changed the product somewhat since then, so I don't know how it will measure up now.

These sauces are very hot, but they have some nice flavor, too. Second the nomination for death sauces.
